Abiodun Dabiri


Biodun Dabiri is a consummate corporate finance specialist who over 22 years has handled some of the largest and most complex transactions in the Nigerian capital markets. He was involved in the conceptualization, capitalization and restructuring of a number of companies. He set up and nurtured a number of successful business units including Capital Consortium Limited, an asset management company and Security Swaps Limited, a stockbroking firm and foremost player in the Nigerian capital market.

Biodun led a group of investors in packaging the corporate spin off of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc’s shareholdings in the then Magnum Trust Bank Plc (now part of Sterling Bank Plc) which he co-managed from 1999 to 2007. He put together the investment banking competencies of the banks that collapsed into Sterling Bank Plc, to form Sterling Capital Market Limited and ran the outfit over a period of two years, to become one of the best known investment banking institution in Nigeria. In this capacity, he led a team that raised over N650billion in transactions volume for the financial services, oil and manufacturing sectors. During this period he played a prominent role in the mergers and acquisitions activities, local and off shore fund raising activities consummated during the first and second rounds of the financial sector consolidation exercises.

Biodun holds a degree obtained from the University of Ibadan and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria having trained with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte Touche) Chartered Accountants. He is a member of the Board of Central Securities Clearing System Limited (CSCS), the central depository of the Nigerian capital market, a company he helped establish, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He is also a committe member of the Lagos/Ogun Megacity Development Authority.

 

Bayo Agbede - DIRECTOR

Agbede holds the Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Accountancy and Management, respectively. He is a registered Capital Market Operator and has been involved in several Public lssues. He has attended several professional banking courses in Nigeria and abroad. Mr. Agbede is currently Head of Operations in one of Nigeria 's leading Bank.
 



Clem Baiye - DIRECTOR

A veteran Journalist and Merchant Banker. Mr. Baiye is a graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria and the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom . He was Editor/General Manager (Southern Operations) of the New Nigerian Newspapers and an Assistant General Manager in NAL Merchant Bank PLC. Mr. Baiye participated in the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at Templetion College , Oxford in 1968. He is currently Managing Director, Yazane Investment Limited.

 



Nosakhare Alonge - Ag. MD/CEO

Nosa Alonge is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Stockbroker with over 18 years in-depth knowledge of the Nigerian Financial Market. His wealth of experience span across Manufacturing, Money and the Capital Market of the Nigerian Financial Industry. Mr. Alonge’s cognate work experience and versatility has seen him worked with institutions such as: First Mortgage (Savings & Loans) Limited, Paper Sack Nig Ltd, Foresight Securities & Investment Ltd.

His practical training and experience covers Internal Controls and Auditing, and he is also an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He joined Security Swaps Ltd as a Stockbroker in 2007, before being appointed as the Financial Controller in 2009-A position he occupied until March 20011, when he was appointed as the Acting Managing Director till date. Mr. Alonge has attended several professional course and seminars; he is married with children.
